The 4th Qatar Victory Forum for Basalt Sculpture was held in Deir Ezzor city, which was held in the martyrs park in the city with the participation of a number of plastic artists and sculptors from different governorates.

Dr. Siham Al-Khater, a member of the Executive Office of the governorate of Deir Ezzor, said that the forum was attended by 11 artists who completed distinctive basaltic sculptures that talked about the victory of Syria and expressed the folklore and folklore nature in Deir Ezzor, pointing out that the sculptures will be placed in the public gardens to give them aesthetic touch.

The Director of the Forum artist Mohammed Joudia that the Forum has achieved remarkable success and reached the desired goal of its establishment in the city of Deir Ezzor and the return of visual and artistic life of this city after the long sabotage by terrorism, explaining that the sculptures embodied the titles of victory while preserving the nature and heritage of the region of customs and traditions At the same time, it was an opportunity for many young people in Deir Ezzor who are interested in sculpture to learn about the way of work, the method of creating the sculpture and the way of its creation.

Artist Waddah Salameh, Director of the Technical Institute of Applied Arts in Damascus Castle, considered that his participation in the forum an important experience as an expression of the victory of Deir Ezzor as part of the victory of Syria, pointing out that the sculpture completed by three heads of horses reflect the originality and victory and the permanence of life and reflect our originality and history to form a visual vision Aesthetic and expressive.

The artist Osama Amasha that he presented a sculpture of basalt its meaning extends from the land of the Golan to the land of the Euphrates and expresses fertility, goodness, generosity and magnanimity that distinguish the sons of Syria.
