[Fugitives Regulations] 12-year-old male and two female quasi-bail conditions: not allowed to participate in a rally of more than 10 people

Three of the students were involved in throwing bamboo branches on the railway in Tai Po Market, including a 12-year-old male student, charged with one count of placing objects on the railway with the intention of endangering the safety of passengers and the like. Their earlier application for bail was rejected, and today (3rd) they applied to the High Court for bail again and they were approved. However, they are required to comply with a number of conditions of bail, including not being able to attend public meetings of more than 10 people.

The three defendants who applied for bail to the High Court were Lu Peiyao (age 21), a female student with a surname of Wang (16), and a 12-year-old secondary one male student. They alleged that they had intended to endanger the safety of vehicles on the railway at Tai Po Market or people on the railway at Yuan Zhou Tsai section of Tai Po Highway last month. A 12-year-old male student was also charged with assaulting Inspector X and possessing a wrench on a one-day bridge on the Tai Po Highway.

Trio released on bail of 100,000 and 50,000

Their application was approved today, of which Lu and Wang Zhun were released on bail of 100,000 yuan, while 12-year-old male students were released on bail of 50,000 yuan. In addition, the three were not allowed to leave Hong Kong and participate in public meetings of more than 10 people during bail. They are also required to abide by a curfew, staying at their reported address from 6 pm Monday to Friday to 6 am the following day. The curfew time on Saturday and Sunday is from 12 noon to 6 am the next day.

Two men involved in conspiracy to attack Cen Zijie, bail rejected

In addition, the salesperson Luo Jianhua (29 years old) was charged with five counts of assaulting the RCD convener Cen Zijie in Jordan in August this year, including conspiracy to seriously hurt someone. He also applied for bail in the High Court today, but his application was not approved.

Chen Zhengting (twenty), a female student at the Institute of Vocational Education who had been charged with three petrol bombs at the roundabout of Yuanzhouzai section of the Tai Po Highway on November 11, was denied bail.
