Iran's special envoy to Japan, Abbas Araghchi, stressed the need for the European parties to implement their obligations under the nuclear deal.
"We are not seeking to withdraw from the nuclear deal, but we decided a year after our patience and make sure that it is not implemented," Arachi was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency.
But if the embargo is lifted and Iran gets the benefits of this agreement, we will return to the commitments listed in it, pointing out that the Middle East is going through sensitive circumstances, which requires cooperation to reduce tensions more than ever.
For his part, the Japanese foreign minister said: "We are concerned about the current conditions in the Middle East and we should make diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions there."
The administration of US President Donald Trump intensified pressure on Iran after the withdrawal of the nuclear deal in May last year and then imposed unfair economic measures on it, which Tehran responded recently to suspend some of its obligations in the nuclear deal.
