Police investigators who were called to the scene of an accident last Friday found that a motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle, following an argument between them. Police investigations at the scene revealed that Omar Haim Tuvia, the 28-year-old driver of the private vehicle, struck a 48-year-old motorcyclist and injured him, then fled the scene.

Police were able to locate the car owner and arrested him for questioning. There it was discovered that it was a young man with a criminal history. The investigation revealed that the suspect was trying to make a U-turn with his vehicle in a forbidden place, and a 48-year-old motorcyclist coming from the opposite lane called Zafar to a vehicle that blocked him from driving. The suspect vehicle began chasing the biker as he drove wildly endangering the other road users. The motorcyclist panicked, stopped at the side of the road and began a brief confrontation between the two. The biker tried to end the fight and continue his ride, except that the driver did not give up, and began to chase the biker again, but this time he bumped the motorcycle rider from behind. As a result of the injury, the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and went to the hospital. The suspected vehicle owner fled the scene and civilians who witnessed the incident invited police and MDA.

Tuvia was brought yesterday to discuss his case in Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court, where he said: "I am not excited about a court, there is heaven and everything is fine." Magistrate Judge Zohar Devon Segal extended his detention for four days.
