Epstein's Five Victims Require Prince Andrew to Testify: "Regular Guest"
Photo: Reuters, edited by Nir ChenFive women who accuse Jeffrey Epstein of sexual exploitation say British Prince Andrew witnessed some of what happened in the sex offender's home, which committed suicide in a Manhattan prison cell last August.
The women's lawyer told the BBC that he was planning to file an order requiring the prince to give evidence in all five cases. According to him, Queen Elizabeth's son has important information about trafficking in women. The prince claims he did not witness any suspicious behavior during his visit to Epstein.
"We tried to interview Prince Andrew and try to get his explanation. He was a regular visitor," said lawyer David Boys. "He has to go to the interview. He has to talk about it." The testimony summons has been prepared for all five cases, and a judge should sign them if the Prince comes to visit the United States. He could then appeal the summons to court if he objected to giving evidence.

A BBC investigation revealed new information about the problematic picture in which Prince Andrew appeared next to Virginia Joffra, then 17, whose name was Virginia Roberts. She said she, Prince, Epstein and his then-partner, Jaclyn Maxwell, went to Trump's London club. According to her, while driving back from the place "Jazlin told me I should do to Andrew what I did to Jeffrey, and it made me sick." Later, she said, they came to Epstein's house and there she had sex with Andrew.
The prince rejected her remarks, saying that he did not even remember meeting him, but admitted that he could not deny, or confirm, the reliability of the picture. This came to the Daily Mail in 2011.
The affair casts a heavy shadow on the British royal house, and Andrew was forced to announce last month that he was retiring from public life.
