This applies not only to the Middle East, but to the whole world.

Mladenov said that discussions on making the Middle East a nuclear-free zone are very old and we hope all countries will return to the negotiating table on this issue as it is one of the most important threats to international peace and security from an international perspective.

Nuclear activity in the Middle East and the risk of proliferation, pointing out that this can only be subject to all activities of the Israeli occupation entity and its nuclear facilities to the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The conference was held with the aim of establishing a zone free of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East in New York between the 18 and 22 of last month with the participation of a number of countries in the region in addition to Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany.
