London (CNN) - An American woman who accused the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein of sexual crimes revealed new details of the night she said she was forced to perform sexual acts with Prince Andrew of Great Britain.

In his first interview in the United Kingdom, Virginia Giuffre, formerly known as Virginia Roberts, said on the BBC Panorama program that when he was 17 he was a victim of human trafficking by Epstein and forced to have sex with his friends, including the Duke from York. Giuffre also accused the prince, who has repeatedly denied the accusations, of lying about their encounter, and urged the British public to back her above Andrew.

"I'm calling this lies, because they are," he said. “He knows what happened. I know what happened, and there is only one of us telling the truth, and I know it's me, ”Giuffre told the BBC.

  • Who is who among the powerful friends, associates and alleged accomplices of Jeffrey Epstein

Virginia Giuffre appeared in her first interview in the United Kingdom in December 2019 and revealed new details of how she was supposedly forced to have sex with Prince Andrew of England.

Buckingham Palace denied its accusations in a statement to CNN on Monday.

“It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of contact or sexual relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any statement to the contrary is false and unfounded, ”says the statement.

Dancing in a London nightclub

Giuffre alleges that in 2011 Epstein brought her to London, where she was introduced to Prince Andrew and went to dance at a nightclub with Epstein, his then girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell and the prince.

Giuffre, in a 2015 defamation case filed against Maxwell, claimed that "she was forced to have sex with this prince when she was a minor in three different geographical locations," including London, New York and the US Virgin Islands. . The case was resolved in 2017.

Maxwell has denied all the charges against him. His lawyers have previously denied that he has participated in sexual abuse or sexual trafficking.

In court proceedings, Maxwell and his lawyer portray Giuffre as an unreliable narrator, pointing out mistakes on certain dates and figures she provided.

Giuffre has said that inaccuracies were mistakes.

Prince Andrew told the same BBC show in November: “I can tell you categorically that I don't remember meeting her at all. I don't remember taking a picture and I have said constantly and frequently that we never had any kind of sexual contact of any kind. ”

Giuffre detailed the night with Prince Andrew

Giuffre said that at the Tramp nightclub in London, in a VIP section, Andrés ordered him a vodka and asked him to dance.

"He is the most horrible dancer I've ever seen in my life," Giuffre told the BBC. "I mean it was horrible and this guy was sweating on me, he was sweating like, as if it was raining basically everywhere, I was disgusted with that, but I knew I had to keep him happy because that's what Jeffrey and Ghislaine expected of me" .

When they left the club, Giuffre says he received instructions from Maxwell. "In the car, Ghislaine tells me that I have to do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey and that made me sick," the complainant said, adding that she had sex with the prince at Maxwell's house in Belgravia, London.

"It didn't happen," Prince Andrew told the BBC last month. "... That could not have happened because the suggested date I was at home with the children," he said.

Prince Andrew has vehemently denied all of Giuffre's accusations. "I don't remember meeting this lady at all," he told the BBC in November.

The prince could be summoned to justice

Prince Andrew could be summoned to give evidence in cases in an American court of five women who accused Epstein of sexually abusing them, according to the BBC's Panorama program.

David Boies, a lawyer representing women, said he had requested an interview with Prince Andrew to hear an explanation of his time with Epstein.

“There are questions that we have that he needs to answer. We have proposed that you do it in an interview. So far he has refused to do so, ”Boies told CNN.

"If you are not going to do a voluntary interview, the only way we have is through a subpoena," Boies said, adding that he had five citations written for Prince Andrew's testimony.

The subpoenas would have to be signed by a judge when the prince was in US territory, the BBC reported. If he does not want to give evidence, the prince could challenge court citations, says the BBC.

When asked if he would be willing to testify or give a statement under oath on the case, during an interview with the BBC Newsnight program last month, Prince Andrew said that “he would have to take all the legal advice there is… But If the impulse came to an end and the legal advice were to do it, then I would be obliged to do it. ”

Giuffre asks the British public to stand by his side

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in August while awaiting trial on new charges of sex trafficking; The New York City coroner determined that he had died by suicide.

Buckingham Palace said in response to the interview that the Duke "unequivocally regrets his reckless association with Jeffrey Epstein" and "deeply sympathizes with those affected who want some form of closure."

The BBC spoke with Giuffre before Andres was interviewed in November, when he said he didn't remember meeting her and that he "didn't sweat at that time" due to a medical condition. During the interview, the prince was also asked about a photo that seemed to show him with his arm around Giuffre's waist; He responded by saying that he "did not remember taking the picture" and suggested that the picture could have been falsified.

After Andrés' interview, Giuffre told the BBC that he was keeping up with his version of events.

"People inside will continue to invent these ridiculous excuses as if their arm was lengthened or that the photo is manipulated," he said.

In a 2015 federal court presentation, Giuffre alleged that Epstein forced her to perform sexual acts with several prominent men, including Prince Andrew in 2001. All men denied the accusations.

Giuffre said he implores the British public to "stand" by his side and "don't accept that this is fine."

"This is not a sordid sex story," he said. "This is a traffic story, this is a story of abuse and this is the story of royalty boys."
