[Life-saving accident] Male driver was arrested for driving in Tianshuiwei wheelchair

A fatal car accident occurred in Tin Shui Wai. At 1.19 pm today (4th), a light truck was travelling along Tianrui Road towards Tianhu Road. When it was outside Tianshuiwei Government Primary School, it knocked down a 69-year-old surname Li Lao Weng. The victim was seriously injured and unconscious. The car was taken to Tin Shui Wai Hospital and was certified dead after rescue. Police are investigating the accident, a 26-year-old driver named Li Nan is suspected of driving dangerously

A special investigation team of the New Territories North Regional Transport Ministry is following up the investigation. The traffic lights and pedestrian crossing lights seen at the reporter's site were damaged, and a "bad light" notice was posted on the lamp post. It is reported that the deceased was driving an electric wheelchair to cross the road.
