Tamar Fenigstein, 19, of Petah Tikva, is the youngest to be killed on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday after falling under the light rail car in Jerusalem. Tamar is believed to have experienced an epileptic seizure a few moments before slipping and falling, but the causes of the accident are still being considered.

Near midnight, it was reported that there was an injured light rail passenger in Jerusalem and that she was trapped under one of the cars. MDA forces who arrived at the scene discovered her with no life and had to determine her death at the scene. Four of her friends, who witnessed the incident, were evacuated to the hospital after suffering an anxiety attack. Tamar Fenigstein ZL is the first casualty killed in the light rail involvement.

Tamar, a resident of Hadar Ganim neighborhood in Petah Tikva, used to volunteer at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem as part of the National Service Year that began this year. Tamar's girlfriend, Ahinoam, was with her in her last moments. An interview with 103 FM told how she realized that her partner in service and recreation had experienced an epilepsy, and was unable to prevent the disaster.
