In Honduras, a Supreme Court Court on Monday issued sentences of between 30 and 50 years in prison for seven of the nine involved in the murder of environmentalist Berta Cáceres, as reported by the spokeswoman for the Judiciary, Lucia Villars. The activist was violently killed when she received several bullet impacts at her home in Tegucigalpa in March 2016.
