The quantity of feedstuffs sold to livestock breeders in Lattakia governorate of bran and ready milk reached 4423 tons at discounted prices compared to the private sector to support breeders.
The Director of the Feed Branch in Lattakia, Eng. Yasser Salem, told SANA Economic Bulletin that the branch of the Foundation has shipped since the beginning of the year 17 thousand tons of bran material to the branches of the Foundation in Homs and Hama, while we plan to rent a ready-made milk from the branches of Homs and Tartous in order to secure the needs of livestock in the province.
Salem pointed out that the fodder materials available at the Foundation branch are currently sold according to the feed cycle which started on the second of last month and ends at the end of this month, which included the allocation of 5 kg of bran for each head of sheep and 75 kg of ready-made milk for one head of cows He stressed the quality of the feed material produced by the laboratories of the Foundation in addition to its competitor price, which is less than the prices of the private sector by 70 thousand pounds per ton, where the price per ton of the institution one hundred thousand pounds.
