The journalist Anabel Hernández explains how she obtained the information for her most recent book “The Traitor. The secret newspaper of the son of May ”, in which he says in an interview with Carmen Aristegui, reveals secrets of the Sinaloa cartel from within the organization. Hernández says he was one of Vicente Zambada Niebla's “Vicentillo” lawyers, who is being held in the United States, who told him details of the meetings he had with Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera and with Ismael Mario “El Mayo” Zambada, father of the "Vicentillo", in Sinaloa after the arrest and subsequent extradition of Zambada Niebla to the United States. Hernández affirms that initially it was the “Vicentillo” who sought her through the lawyer referred to give him information, previously approved by “El Chapo” and “El Mayo”, to publish it and thus benefit his case. Subsequently, it was the lawyer who in a personal decision decided to share private information on the condition that it was not published until after his death.
