He pointed out that the Directorate of Agriculture allocated an area of ​​13 dunums in Al-Hanadi nurseries for the cultivation of mulberry trees as intensive planting with 7000 seedlings to help breeders hatching eggs and breeding them in the first and second generation by technicians.Distribution to breeders in the third phase is free.

He pointed out that the increase in demand for silk production has prompted the Ministry of Agriculture to allocate sites for the cultivation of mulberry trees in the forest during the afforestation of burned sites and in the whereabouts of silk worm breeders have been allocated 50,000 planting berries for this year.

It is noteworthy that every 5 kg silk cocoons produce 1 kg silk and the price per kilo is 30 thousand Syrian pounds.
