Lu said that the corpse liver came from an adult patient who had died at Queen Mary Hospital. After assessing the size and health of the corpse liver, the doctor divided it into two parts; about a quarter of the left lateral lobe was transplanted to Kai Cheng, and the right liver was transplanted to another adult. "Every time a liver transplant operation saves one life, this time it will save two lives, so the operation will be performed as soon as the notification is received."
