Thirty-five plastic artists from the sons of Tartous participated in the exhibition, which was hosted by the headquarters of the branch of the Union of Fine Artists, through which he presented 40 different paintings and 15 sculptures with different materials.
Suleiman Ahmad, head of the Tartous Artists Union branch, said that the exhibition included paintings with techniques, methods and artistic schools that varied between realism, Impressionism, classical and abstract in addition to modern art, while sculptures varied between wood and marble, explaining that the exhibition is an annual tradition held at the end of each year and is inspired by the victories of the Syrian Arab Army And evidence that the artist continues to creativity inspired by this reality according to his style and his own imprint.
The artist Ahmed Khalil linked the present to the past through his painting in which he expressed the originality of the Arabian horse and its status among Arabs since ancient times with the role of women throughout history, pointing out that the exhibition is an affirmation of the impact of art on the war on terrorism, which resulted in different schools, styles and art cultures.
The artist Ali Mualla, who recently turned to express different human situations through sculptures of people faces because of this method in his opinion of the ability to communicate ideas participated in two sculptures dealt with the first features of the face of an elderly man suggesting strength and fighting life, while wrapping the other sculpted face with a handkerchief, leaving the gaze of that man's eyes to express A certain vision every viewer understands as he wants.
The artist Afaf Ibrahim participated in two paintings, one of which dealt with the human composition and the spiritual relationship between men and women, while choosing an anemone rose to symbolize the life emanating from the blood of the martyrs and their sacrifices.
The artist Hala Abdel Rahman embodied in one of the paintings, which shared the symbolism of the olive tree from her own perspective and a new sense of stages of development, considering the annual exhibitions a good initiative contribute to renewal and cultural richness.
The exhibition included honoring a group of plastic artists in recognition of their artistic career full of tender are Mahmoud Nabulsi and Ali Sheikh Deeb and Ali Baha Mualla and Hala Abdel Rahman and Issa Salama.
