This morning (Thursday), a report was received from the Israel Police hotline that a man's body was found in the Hayarkon stream. Special Rescue Unit personnel from the Tel Aviv Fire Station and crews from Ramat Gan Station worked to extract the body from the Yarkon River and transfer it to the medical forces on the spot.
MDA paramedic Slim Azmi, who was at the scene, said: "The man was drawn from the creek by the fire brigade. We performed medical examinations, he was unconscious and without signs of life, and we had to determine his death instead. "
Police forces arrived at the scene and began investigating the circumstances of the case and actions to identify him, as there were no identifying documents on him. The man wore sportswear and so all directions are examined, including the fact that he may have a heart condition, but this will only become apparent after the autopsy.
