Units of the Internal Security Forces and the competent authorities in the governorate of Hama carried out a delicate security operation in the town of Salhab, southwest of Hama city, in connection with the attack on the district headquarters in the town, which resulted in the arrest of 15 wanted persons for murder and looting, including people who participated in the attack on the district headquarters.
A source in Hama police headquarters told SANA that the operation carried out by the Internal Security Forces and the competent authorities “in Salhab came to combat kidnappings and robberies against citizens in that area and arrest the criminals who attacked the headquarters of Salhab district” a few days ago.
The source pointed out that “the operation has achieved its objectives and wanted for crimes of murder and looting were also seized and a number of irregular mechanisms were confiscated, most of which are stolen and used by criminals in carrying out their crimes. A number of weapons were also confiscated, including medium machine guns, bombs, guns and guns. And various munitions. ”
The source stressed that "will be prosecuted every person who harms the security of the homeland and the citizen or anyone who tries to disturb internal security," calling on the people to cooperate and provide information that contribute to enhancing their security and combating crime and kidnapping.
