(CNN) - George Zimmerman was acquitted in the fatal shooting in 2012 in which Trayvon Martin died, but according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Florida, he believes there was a conspiracy to frame him and he wants a damage repair of more than 100 million Dollars.

His lawyer Larry Klayman announced the lawsuit along with a Coral Gables screening of a documentary titled "The Trayvon Hoax," which was canceled. Zimmerman was scheduled to appear alongside Klayman at a press conference on Thursday, but hours later, Klayman said the press conference was also canceled.

The main accusation in the lawsuit is that civil rights lawyer Ben Crump helped exchange a reluctant witness, Brittany Diamond Eugene, for her half sister, Rachel Jeantel, and helped her prepare a script intended to take Zimmerman to prison for The murder of the 17-year-old on February 26, 2012. Crump began representing Trayvon's parents as of February 28, 2012, according to the lawsuit.

  • More evidence in the Zimmerman case

The lawsuit accuses Trayvon's parents, prosecutors and state authorities of agreeing with the alleged ruse, and "allegedly knew or should have known about witness fraud, obstruction of justice or repeatedly lied under oath to cover up their knowledge of the witness fraud, ”said a press release from Klayman.

Klayman, who founded the conservative Judicial Watch watchdog group, has filed several lawsuits in the past, including a “primordial” claim that falsely claimed that former President Barack Obama could not be president because he was not a natural citizen.

According to Zimmerman's lawsuit, Jeantel was posing as Trayvon's girlfriend when it was Eugene who was dating Trayvon, and who was on the phone with him during the meeting with Zimmerman, a former neighborhood surveillance captain.

Jeantel then delivered a false testimony on the stand at the Zimmerman trial, the lawsuit says. The alleged conspirators followed the plot, although Jeantel is two years older, 12.7 centimeters taller and about 60 kg heavier than Eugene, according to demand.

The plan was finalized in a 3-minute phone call between Crump and Eugene on March 31, 2012, according to the lawsuit.

Jeantel's testimony

Jeantel, a key prosecutor witness, testified that Trayvon told him in the phone call that someone was following him.

When Trayvon approached his father's girlfriend's house, he tried to lose Zimmerman, he testified. Jeantel said he heard him talk to Zimmerman in the background.

"He said: 'Why do you follow me?' And I heard a man who was breathing hard say, "What are you doing here?" Jeantel said.

Jeantel testified that he heard a blow from Trayvon's headset hitting something and "wet grass sounds."

"I begin to hear Trayvon say 'Take off, take off!", Said Jeantel.

She admitted on the stage to lie to Trayvon's family several times about her age and about her reasons for not attending Trayvon's funeral.

Jeantel found himself in the relentless light of a nationally televised trial. The spectators criticized her for her dress, her weight, her speech and her combative attitude on the stage.

“Unfounded and reckless lawsuit”

Crump and Trayvon's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, denied the accusations.

"I have full confidence that this unfounded and reckless demand will be revealed for what it is: another failed attempt to defend the indefensible and a blatant attempt to capitalize on the lives and pain of others," Crump said in a statement issued in his name and on behalf of Trayvon's parents.

“This plaintiff continues to show a callous disregard for all but himself, revictimizing people whose lives were shattered by their own wrong actions. It would make us believe that he is the innocent victim of a deep conspiracy, despite the total lack of credibility evidence to support his extravagant claims, ”the statement said.

CNN is trying to contact other defendants in the lawsuit. Jeantel did not immediately respond to a voice message and text message seeking comment. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement declined to comment and so did Attorney General Ashley Moody, through a spokeswoman.

The lawsuit alleges malicious prosecution, abuse of process, civil conspiracy and defamation.

It seeks compensatory and real damages of more than 100 million dollars and leaves open the possibility of an additional claim for punitive damages.

A month after the February 2012 shooting, Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee said Zimmerman was not charged because there was no reason to refute his version of the events. Zimmerman said he shot Trayvon in self-defense.

Weeks later, amid widespread outrage, a special prosecutor accused Zimmerman of murder. A jury acquitted him of all charges in July 2013.

Zimmerman legal affairs

Zimmerman has been arrested in several alleged domestic incidents but has not been charged.

In November 2013, he was arrested for aggravated assault and misdemeanors of domestic violence and accusations of criminal offenses. But prosecutors said they would not press charges after his girlfriend said he wanted the case removed.

Zimmerman was arrested in January 2015 for the alleged aggravated assault of another girlfriend. Prosecutors did not file charges after the alleged victim withdrew his claims.

A year later, Zimmerman put the gun that killed Trayvon up for auction.

The impact of Trayvon's death

The death of Trayvon stimulated a movement and helped to give rise to the war cry that resounded in many: #BlackLivesMatter.

The movement forced a conversation about police brutality and inequality.

The image of Trayvon with a hoodie was iconic. Professional athletes wore hoodies, and protesters repeated the mantra: "I am Trayvon Martin" to express solidarity and outrage.

Trayvon's death inspired President Obama to deliver a sincere message by saying, "If I had a child, it would look like Trayvon."
