The Iraqi parliament voted today on the draft law of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq.
Alsumaria News website quoted a parliamentary source as saying that the House of Representatives voted on the draft law of the Independent High Electoral Commission.
For his part, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Halbousi said that the members of the Commission in accordance with its new law will be judges and will be chosen in a lot, pointing to the exemption of all directors of the sections of the dissolved election commission.
