The Commission was also asked to assess the impact of legislation and economic measures taken to achieve competition and prevent monopoly, prepare monitoring studies on the competitive situation within the economic and service sectors, identify practices against competition and propose the necessary decisions to address them so that these data constitute a research reference in support of economic decision makers.
