Hela Schmidt, European Union foreign policy chief, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts by all parties to maintain the Iranian nuclear deal.
"We have a collective responsibility to preserve their nuclear agreement ... All participants are required to inform their capitals of the need to intensify efforts by all parties," Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Schmidt as saying in a tweet at the end of the meeting of the Joint Commission for the Nuclear Deal in Vienna.
The European official affirmed that during the meeting, a decision was welcomed by 6 European countries, namely "Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and the Netherlands" to join the financial mechanism for dealing with Iran "Instex".
