The incident began after the two armed suspects robbed a jewelry store in Coral Gables, located in Miami-Dade County, in the afternoon (local time). At UPS they confirmed that one of the fatalities was the company's employee. "We are very saddened to hear that one of the company's employees was killed as a result of this stupid act of violence," the company said. "We send our condolences to the family and friends of the employee and those of the other innocent victims. We appreciate the work of the law authorities and will cooperate with the authorities during the investigation."
