Mohammed Al-Shamrani, who arrived in the US as part of a Saudi military delegation, wrote on Twitter, just hours before he shot and killed three people at a military base in Florida: "Americans support, fund and commit crimes against humanity and Muslims, America has become a wicked state" About the case "

Three people were killed last Friday in what appears to be an attack after a Saudi civilian began firing at every US Navy base in Pensacola, Florida, killing three people and injuring seven, until he was shot and killed by county sheriff's deputies.

Additional details that emerged after the shooting indicate that the shooter, Mohammed Said Al-Shamrani, was a trainee in a base flight course that arrived in the United States as part of a Saudi military mission that was supposed to pass a pilot course that the U.S. military is passing on to some of its allies. According to reports in the US media, six Saudis were taken for questioning after the incident, some documented it on their mobile cameras. It is currently unknown if the shooter's motive is terrorism, but there is more reason to suspect it.

Various reports in the Arab and American media indicate that Alshamrani, who has been in the United States for a little over two years, since August 2017, posted an angry manifesto in his Twitter account outraging Americans and their support for Israel. Among other things, he wrote: "I hate you Americans not because you are Americans or your freedom, but because you support, fund and commit crimes against Muslims and humanity in general." He also blamed: "The United States supports Israel invading Muslim countries. I am against evil, and America has become an evil state."

Within a week: A second shooting incident at an American base

US President Donald Trump referred to the shooting in a tweet posted in his Twitter account: "King Salman called me and expressed his condolences to the incident. He said the Saudis were outraged at the barbaric acts of the shooter, who in no way represent the citizens of Saudi Arabia, who love America."

Ron de Santis, Florida's governor, said after arriving at the scene: "Saudi Arabia will have to answer a lot of questions about the shooter, a foreign national who trained in our land, and will have to compensate the victims of the shooting."

Remember, this is the second shooting incident in the last week that occurred at a US military base. Last Wednesday, a U.S. Navy soldier shot three civilians at Pearl Harbor military base in Hawaii and managed to murder two of them before shooting himself and dying.

The Naval base at Pensacola, which is near the Florida border with Alabama, is a major U.S. Navy training site, as well as the parent base of the Air Force Demonstration Squadron, the "Blue Angels." The base serves more than 16,000 military personnel and 7,400 civilians.
