Five police officers from the northern area were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the theft of firearms and ammunition from their workplace and committing arms offenses. In addition, three civilians were also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the commission of the crimes.
The suspects, three logistics police officers and two other Border Police Border Police officers, were investigated this week in the Prosecutor's Office.

Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended the detention of two of the police officers until Thursday and Friday this week, another police officer and three civilians will be arrested for further detention later today.
