Iraqi forces arrested two terrorists and seized weapons and missiles in the Hawija district, south of Kirkuk Governorate.
The Alsumaria News website quoted the Federal Police Command as saying in a statement today that "units of the joint Iraqi forces have begun the duty to search and clear areas and villages in the Hawija district of ISIS terrorist remnants within the second page of the seventh victory will operations that started yesterday."
The statement added, "A village was searched and cleared, and explosive devices of various shapes and sizes were dismantled and destroyed, in addition to finding Katyusha rockets and RPG launchers, in addition to finding drone bombs."
The Iraqi security forces arrested earlier today, five ISIS terrorists in separate areas of the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh province.
It is noteworthy that the security services in Nineveh Governorate announce from time to time the arrest of several terrorist and ISIS operatives in operations carried out in different areas of the governorate.
