The amount of rainfall that has been falling in Ashkelon in the last 24 hours only corresponds to the amount that is expected to fall in the region every December - meaning Ashkelon has already exceeded the rainfall quota for the current month and this is indeed a blessed thing.
And what can we expect in the coming days? It can be said that the peak of rain in the current system is behind us, but winter is still here. Tomorrow, local rainfall will fall, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms from the north of the country to the northern Negev, and temperatures will be lower than normal. During the day the rain will weaken and gradually diminish. There is a slight fear of floods in the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.
