Athena-Sana

The Greek government announced that Athens has lodged an objection with the United Nations over the agreement between the Libyan Accord government and the Turkish regime on maritime borders, describing it as a "violation of international law".

"The agreement was prepared in bad faith ... it violates the United Nations' law of the sea," Greek government spokesman Stelios Pitsas told Reuters today.

The Libyan Parliament had denounced last month, "the two memoranda of understanding in the security and maritime areas" signed by the Libyan government of reconciliation with the Turkish regime, stressing its rejection of them as they are in violation of the constitutional declaration and political agreement between the Libyan parties.
