A serious incident occurred Tuesday in the Czech Republic when an armed man killed six people and injured another during a shooting spree at Ostrava University Hospital, northeastern Czech Republic.

According to local police reports and reports in the state, the shooter carried out the shooting while the University Hospital was closed, and immediately fled the scene. Czech police posted on Twitter a photo of the shooter and wrote "Police are looking for the gunman who carried out the shootings. We ask for the public's cooperation. For every piece of information please contact us."
