"We will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons and if this is the last option - we will act militarily. No threat will deter us," Foreign Minister Israel Katz said in response to threats from Tehran to "flush Tel Aviv from Lebanon".

The minister also said that "Israel is not the helpless protesters in Iran and Iraq slaughtered by the Ayatollah regime. We will know to respond forcefully to any threat or harm." With regard to Lebanon, he emphasized that "here is Nasrallah's real face as a total Iranian proxy and not as a defender of Lebanon's interests."

Last night, a Revolutionary Guards senior adviser, Mortha Gurbani, threatened that if Israel made the smallest mistake about the Islamic Republic, Tehran would make sure "to flush Tel Aviv from Lebanon."

For his part, Gurbani claimed that Iran did not want to have nuclear weapons. He added that if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei orders to attack Israel - it will raise its hands and surrender.

This was a response to Minister Katz, who said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Correira de la that "Iran should pose a military threat and not just sanctions. The Iranians do not understand who they are playing with. That if there is no real threat to the government itself - they will not return to the beneficiary or restrain themselves. "

This was stated during his visit to Rome, where the minister met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov at the international conference "Middle East Dialogue". At the opening of the meeting, Katz congratulated the Russian Foreign Minister on the good relations between Israel and Russia and later raised the issue of Israeli civilian Naama Issachar being held in the Russian prison.
