Factors on the issue argue that the Treasury is trying to postpone the decision on the basis of the political paralysis and the elections that are approaching huge steps, with the understanding that if allocated a low amount this could provoke public protest and carry political and image implications. According to the sources, the treasury would prefer to wait with the announcement of the budget increase as much as possible - even up to March after the third election campaign, if it is announced in two days.
