(CNN Spanish) - This Tuesday, the president-elect of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, and his vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, will be sworn in in a formal ceremony in which President Mauricio Macri will hand over his successor in Congress.

As reported by the Argentine news agency Télam, according to the tentative schedule that was announced on Monday, the Legislative Assembly will begin at 11:15 local time and will be chaired by outgoing Vice President Gabriela Michetti, where the appointment of the legislators that will integrate the commissions of interior and exterior, in charge of receiving in the esplanade of the Palace on the avenue Between Rivers to the president Fernandez.

At 11:45, Fernández will arrive at the Congress Palace and enter through the esplanade of Entre Ríos Avenue. At 11:30 Macri would arrive and at 11:40, Cristina Fernández.

The president-elect will proceed to sign the Honor Books of the Honorable Senate of the Nation and the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, in the "Blue Room", according to Télam.

Then, Alberto and Cristina Fernández will take an oath before the Legislative Assembly as president and vice president until December 10, 2023.

After taking an oath, Alberto Fernández will explain his program of government in political, economic and social matters to the Assembly.
