"Hong Kong Demonstrator" wins over 30% of "Time" online votes

The "Time" magazine of the United States announced on December 11th the figures of the year voted by online readers. As a result, "Hong Kong demonstrators" won by more than 30% of the votes. As for the person of the year who was selected by the editor of "Time" magazine earlier on the same day, the 16-year-old Swedish environmental protection girl Tumberg won.

"Time" magazine said that more than 27 million people participated in this year's election. As a result, "Hong Kong demonstrators" won by more than 30% of the votes, the second was "climate change demonstrators" with more than 4.5% of votes, and the third was Hollywood actress Keanu Reeves.

Among the annual readers of the year voted by Time magazine this year, the candidates also include immigrants, the U.S. women's football team, Syrian Kurds, whistleblower, and the US "gymnastic queen" Simone Biles.

Last year, "Time" was voted the winner of the year by the Korean Boys' Bulletproof Youth League (BTS).
