A man opened fire in the traumatology area of a hospital in the city of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, killing six people and injuring three others, before taking his own life. The 42-year-old individual managed to escape, but when found by the police, he shot himself and died half an hour later. The reason for the shooting is still unclear, but the Czech Prime Minister said it would be related to some mental illness.
