In Israel, the Israeli satellite system confirms on Wednesday that the Chilean plane's fragments are likely to be found, which apparently crashed on their way to Antarctica. An official in the Jerusalem office confirmed the comments of the Chile Air Force commander on the matter. The authorities in Chile contacted the Israeli embassy in Chile shortly after the Hercules crash and sought assistance in locating them.

The call was transferred to the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem and from there to the IDF and the Israeli ImageSat company, which began to scan the area. Noting specifically the satellite assistance provided by Israel.

The Israeli ambassador to Chile Marina Rosenberg also confirmed that "our satellites cooperate in search efforts." She expressed condolences to the families of passengers and crew who appeared to have perished in the crash.

Remember, last night, the Chile Air Force announced a serious incident that occurred on the night of Monday to Tuesday when an Air Force transport plane disappeared as it made its way to the Antarctic base. On board the plane were 38 people, who at this stage are defined as missing. The Hercules C130 plane took off around 5 pm from the southern Chilean city of Punta Arenas, and its connection with it was lost shortly after 6 p.m. "On board the Hercules C130 aircraft there were 38 people, 17 of whom were crew members of the aircraft, and 21 people were passengers," the Chile Air Force statement said.

An emergency alert was announced after communications with the aircraft were lost and search and rescue teams were activated. The aircraft flew to the South Pole to carry out logistical operations to maintain Chile's military base on King George's Island.
