About 4158 industrial and crafts facilities have returned to actual production in Homs Governorate to date, after they were stopped due to the damage they had sustained as a result of the terrorist acts, after their rehabilitation.
Engineer Bassam Al-Saeed, Director of Homs Industry, stated that 203 industrial and craft facilities have been implemented and licensed since the beginning of this year, including one investment project with a total capital of more than 5 and a half billion Syrian pounds and employ about 600 workers when completed.
Al-Saeed said in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the number of industrial establishments implemented during the current year amounts to 51 establishments with a capital of about 2 billion and 258 million Syrian pounds, which employed 224 workers, while 57 other facilities were licensed, indicating that 43 craft establishments entered into production with a capital of about 236 million pounds that occupied a worker 73 While 51 other crafts were licensed, and one engineering facility was licensed according to the Investment Law, with a capital of about 3 billion Syrian pounds, providing 280 jobs when completed.
It is noteworthy that more than five thousand industrial and crafts establishments that are currently being rehabilitated and maintained to return to production are distributed throughout the province of Homs.
