Following a shooting incident in Jersey City yesterday in New Jersey, Mayor Steven Pollop said Wednesday that the kosher grocery store near the shooting had been marked as a target for assault by the suspects. "Police will reinforce the area where the shooting happened over the next few weeks, but there is no indication of another threat."

Local media outlets released the names of two of the four people who were shot dead and identified them as Moshe Deutsch, 24, and Leah Mindel Franz, 33. Additional wounded in the shooting attack on Jewish sites also apparently belong to the Jewish community living in the area.
