The North District Hospital said that the internal telephone lines were operating normally. After a fixed-line telephone line failure was found this morning, it had immediately contacted the telecommunications supplier for emergency repairs.

The hospital stated that after the failure occurred, the emergency department had arranged to switch to another emergency direct telephone line to maintain communication with the fire department and other departments; the switchboard telephone had been transferred to a mobile phone to maintain communication services.

After being arranged by the supplier, it was also transferred to the mobile phone.
