Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed in a telephone conversation today with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the need to fully implement the Russian-Turkish understandings on combating terrorism in Idlib and northeastern Syria.
A statement to the Kremlin press office said, according to Sputnik, that the need to fully implement the Russian-Turkish agreements on cooperation in Idlib governorate and northeastern Syria was stressed and the need to intensify efforts to combat terrorism in these areas.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime has for years transformed Turkey's lands into a headquarters and a transit point for terrorist organizations and provided various types of support to them, including "ISIS" and "Al-Nusra Front", which is listed on the international terrorism list. It also bought Syrian oil stolen from ISIS.
