Dozens of followers of the Jerusalem faction are demonstrating at this juncture (Wednesday) at the intersection of Rabbi Akiva and Jabotinsky Streets in Bnei Brak. Protesters protest against the arrest of a defector who tried to leave the country. The intersection at which the rally takes place is one of the major intersections in the central and most central area of the city.

Following the protest, the following streets were closed: Ben-Gurion Jabotinsky Corner to the east, Jabotinsky Corner of Abuchetsira to the West and Rabbi Akiva Street Jerusalem to the North. Traffic on Jabotinsky Street is directed by traffic police towards Ayalon Mall. Drivers are advised to keep abreast of the Police Information 110 hotline, as well as use the waze app to find alternative ways.

Police also said that their forces were deployed on the central axes and were directing traffic and thinning traffic loads. However, the police made it clear that there was no intention of preventing the protest, but at the same time, no breach of order or violence would be allowed.

At the beginning of the week, dozens of members of the faction in Jerusalem protested against the arrest of a Haredi defector. The defector, who recently tried to leave the country's borders, was handed over to the military police after it became clear that he had been a defector for more than three years and was currently detained in a military prison.

The rally took place on Bar Ilan Street in the city, and also led to the roadblocks, which is considered a major axis in the area. Eleven protesters were arrested at the scene, including a suspect who was caught on hot while trying to set fire to a dumpster. Following the demonstrations, heavy traffic loads were recorded.

The rally is taking place in the Lithuanian ultra-Orthodox background in the face of protests against the arrest of defectors from the IDF. The fight against Haredi recruiting for the IDF should be waged. Today's protesters are considered more extreme than their friends, and although the ultra-Orthodox defector has complained about trying to leave the country, they believe his protracted arrest should be protested.
