MTR announced at 11 pm that a train in the direction of Tsuen Wan on the Tsuen Wan Line had a breakdown during the period from Prince Edward Station to Sham Shui Po Station. After arranging passengers to transfer to the off train at Sham Shui Po Station, arrangements are now being made to leave the main line and the Tsuen Wan Line to Tsuen Wan. The overall journey in the direction will be an additional 10 to 15 minutes. MTR later pointed out that the faulty Tsuen Wan Line train had left the main line and the Tsuen Wan Line train service was gradually returning to normal.
