Dana Al-Droubi, director of the orphanage in Homs, “The Islamic Orphan”, stated that the aim of the ceremony is to delight children and bring joy and happiness to their souls, and to assure them that there are those who stand beside them and care for them to lead a decent life, pointing to the importance of cooperation and solidarity efforts between the various institutions and members of society to support the orphans.

For his part, Radwan Ghantawi, director of the Happy Magic group for children, indicated that the children interacted with cartoon characters and played with them, indicating that planting a smile on their lips and in their hearts is a goal that the team seeks and works to achieve on all occasions.

Tomorrow, as part of the activities of the Birthday Festival of Farah Homs, a birthday party will be held for the children of the martyrs.

On the other hand, with the participation of the people of Jamal Al-Din neighborhood in Old Homs, the Bayti Development Foundation lit the Christmas tree in the neighborhood garden after its rehabilitation, on the occasion of the approaching Christmas and New Year.

Archbishop Georges Abu Zakhkem, Bishop of Homs and its dependents, praised the Greek Orthodox for the efforts of the Baiti Foundation for Development and the transformation of the neighborhood park into a garden of peace and joy with the lighting of the tree in it for the first time after the events that the country went through, mercy to all the martyrs and valued their sacrifices and the valor of the Syrian Arab Army.

In turn, Ziad Kasouha, the director of the Betty Development Foundation in Homs, stated that the institution is the result of a volunteer work that lasted for three years, with the aim of supporting the family and networking with all spectrums of society to enhance the bonds of love and peace between all, pointing out that for the first time, youth and women volunteers decorated the Christmas tree in the garden and rehabilitated it and re-planted plants Local and lighting its pathways to celebrate the arrival of glorious feasts.

Eileen Kashi, one of the women involved in the rehabilitation of the park, expressed her joy in returning life to the neighborhood after the terrorists turned it into a desolate cemetery before liberating the ancient Arab army of the hero Homs from Syria and reviving it from terrorism.
