Al-Baath University in Homs celebrated the graduation of the "first batch" of the Faculty of Dentistry of the 60 students.
Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of the University, said in a speech during the ceremony held at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities that Al-Baath University has multiple medical, scientific and human specializations and it works to graduate generations capable of going through the work through what they have learned over five years of study and effort to build personality The student is scientifically and cognitively integrated, honing his talents, and accustoming him to take responsibility in practical life and gain skills.
Al-Khatib pointed to the state of giving and dedication provided by students of the Faculty of Dentistry and their professors through free clinics in the college, which provide full treatment and medical services to patients and patients and contribute to the practice of students for the practical side and provide them with societal humanitarian services.
In turn, Dr. Muhammad Firas Mugharbel, Dean of the College of Dentistry, pointed out that the celebration of graduation is an important civilization case as it contributes to promoting excellence, success and creativity among students, stressing that graduates today will proceed to practical life after a long march of study, effort and fatigue and will provide the labor market with their expertise, especially that dentistry It has become one of the specializations that is developing rapidly in the world.
For his part, Ali Hammadi, head of the student union branch at the university, explained that the superiority of students and their graduation is a clear and explicit evidence that Syrian students continue their scientific path, believing in the importance of science and knowledge to build Syria, pointing out that the graduation of the first batch of students of the Faculty of Dentistry is evidence of what abounds With their souls of will and faith, they acquired the specialization that qualified them for the fields of work and they were the real reserve in addition to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.
For his part, the first graduate Zain Moalla drew in a speech on behalf of the graduate students that they are today on the first threshold of serious and real work after graduation, carrying everything they have learned honestly and truthfully to be loyal doctors to their profession, their families and their community, pointing to the great role that parents and teachers played in addition to students to reach Success.
During the graduation ceremony, certificates were distributed to the students, in addition to a concert and poetry recitation.
