The election campaign, the first in December after almost a century, is held after Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson preceded them to try to get out of the impasse that the kingdom has faced because of the Barakzit. Recent polls predict that he will gain a majority, but Jeremy Corbyn's Labor has narrowed the gap.
The polling stations in the 650 constituencies in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland opened at 9am (Israel time) and closed at midnight, after which samples and first results were published. 650 members of parliament are elected by the rubric-regional method, according to which each constituency sends one representative - the candidate who won the most votes in that district.
The UK elections are on the way every four or five years, but they were held in 2017 and 2015. These are the first elections that have been held in the winter since 1974 and the first in December since 1923.
