(CNN Spanish) - Next Sunday, November 5 at 7:00 pm Miami time, the CNN Money program presents the special broadcast: "The Influencers: Two Decades of Economy" under the leadership of the host Xavier Serbiá.
Throughout this one-hour broadcast, the last 20 years in which various events, indelible events that marked the global economic landscape, that have determined and shaped the current life of society, will be visited.
“The Influencers: Two decades of economy” , will have special guests for four different topics that will be addressed based on their global impact, their current influence and their future potential: the mortgage bubble and the economic crisis; Chinese economic power and its consequences; the energy revolution; and the technological irruption and its challenges.
The program narrates the evolution and projection of economic and technological activity worldwide by Xavier Serbiá, together with experts Carlos Asilis (founder and glovista partner of Investments, LLC), Professor José Gabilondo (Florida International University ), Professor Enrique Dussel (UNAM School of Economics), Professor Sergio Cesarin (Untref Asian Studies Researcher), Professor Jorge Piñón (Dir. International Energy Policy Center at the University of Texas), Professor Francisco Monaldi ( Researcher at Ride University), Professor Alejandro Ruelas-Gossi (University of Miami School of Administration) and Marcelo Lozano (General Editor of It Connect).
Some of the events that shook the world and were put in the international spotlight were: the crisis in the real estate market; China's incredible short-term growth, thanks to the projected stimulus of economic policy; and down in a series of other large economies, among which India, Brazil and Mexico stand out.
Also the energy revolution that generated a lot of opportunities in the way of producing, consuming and distributing energy efficiently, managing to meet our needs, a fact that left some sequels with the disappearance of many businesses.
Likewise, technological advances changed all aspects of everyday life.
"The Influencers: Two decades of economy" with Xavier Serbiá, a special edition of CNN Money on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of CNN in Spanish, airs on Sunday, November 5 at 7:00 pm, with repetitions on Saturday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m., and Sunday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m. (** All Miami schedules).
