Customs intercepts Malaysian shipment of narcotics shipments via Shenzhen

The estimated market value is about 2.5 million yuan. Customs officers checked a courier shipment from Malaysia to Shenzhen via Hong Kong and reported to be a vacuum cleaner at the Lok Ma Chau Control Point yesterday. They found that the suspected methamphetamine and ketamine were stored in 4 packs of drinks.

Customs officers checked a courier shipment from Malaysia to Shenzhen via Malaysia and reported to be a vacuum cleaner at the Lok Ma Chau Control Point yesterday. They found that the suspected methamphetamine and ketamine were stored in 4 packets of beverage granules.

Customs officers followed up the investigation and arrested two persons, including a 34-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, in Sham Shui Po on the same day. The case is still under investigation. It is understood that the two arrested persons were nephews. The male reported that he was unemployed and the female reported that he was a helper.

According to the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, trafficking in dangerous drugs is a serious crime. Upon conviction, the maximum penalty is a fine of $ 5 million and life imprisonment.
