On the occasion of glorious Christmas, a charitable bazaar was opened this evening at the St. Kyrillos Roman Catholic Church in Al-Qasaa.

The four-day Christmas bazaar included decorations, icons, paintings, crafts, crochet and holiday supplies such as sweets, drinks, and food.

The head of the Church of St. Kyrillos, Father Fadi Al-Barkeel, pointed out the importance of establishing the bazaars and their role in spreading joy among the people, noting that the most important feature of the bazaar this year is to allow people who perform manual labor for the birth.

Priest of St. Kyrillos Church, Father Marx Depp, stated that the bazaar aims to make people feel joy, in addition to being a window for marketing products, communicating with people and knowing their tastes, especially for the owners of traditional crafts.

The left Architect, responsible for organizing the bazaar, indicated that the bazaar, in which about 50 women participate, includes various products, food items and sweets for the holiday, the proceeds of which belong to the poor, orphans and families in need with the participation of four charities and a number of individual initiatives for women who have proven their ability to produce and draw joy on the faces of children to receive the Gregorian calendar. Women practicing their work in the home and found in the bazaar, which the Church embraced, a space to display products in which they put all the creativity and experience in it in an event in which social, economic and entertainment aspects converge from the festive occasions of gifts, decorations and joy.

Participation Ruwaida Maarawi Al-Dabal, who presented a variety of food and holiday sweets, spoke about the importance of participating in the bazaar to introduce their products and contribute to introducing joy to the hearts of those in need, stressing that the bazaar is an opportunity through which the participating women demonstrate their ability to work.

The sixty-year-old Sisen Salhani showcased her products from the various candles for the Eid, indicating that participation is important because it represents charitable work to support the poor, the needy, the sick and students outside Damascus by providing them with assistance so that they can celebrate Eid like others.

In turn, the participant George Dawood explained the importance of participating in the bazaar to introduce its products that include everything related to holiday decorations, indicating that the bazaar contributes to introducing joy to the hearts of those in need and to give a distinctive atmosphere to the feast.

A number of visitors to the bazaar stressed its importance in terms of achieving benefit and good and supporting the poor and the families of the martyrs in appreciation of the sacrifices of their children for the sake of the nation and spreading joy in their hearts. It is also an opportunity for shopping, especially as it includes everything the family needs during the holidays.
