According to the statement, provided by New Jersey Attorney General Craig Carpenito and Federal Prosecutor Gurbir Groll, investigators are investigating the deadly attack as a domestic terrorist act that prevents anti-Semitism and hatred of law enforcement officials.
Four people, including three Satmar followers and a police officer, were killed in the incident. In addition, both shooters, a man and a woman, were shot dead shortly after the shooting.
