The US Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, said it is investigating a shooting event in New Jersey in which six people were killed as an anti-Semitic incident. And the two partners who carried out the attack, unofficial officials had previously estimated that the background to the incident was anti-Semitic, but this is the first time the FBI has confirmed this is the direction of the investigation.

In the meantime, a new record of the event has been released. The incident began in a Jersey City cemetery when a police officer spotted a suspicious figure. A gunfight ensued during which the casualties entered a commercial vehicle and roamed the streets of the city. They stopped at a kosher Jewish supermarket near a local yeshiva, and burst into gunfire.

At first, it appeared to be a criminal incident, and the casualties happened to stop at the kosher grocery store during their flight. This is because the event began at a relatively remote location, and in light of the fact that the Jewish community in Jersey City is small compared to other cities in the area. One of the possibilities that is still being investigated is that the attackers did not plan in advance to attack the kosher supermarket that day, but when they were in a shootout with the police, they deliberately chose a Jewish target to barricade it.

During the investigation, it was discovered that one of the perpetrators, David Anderson, posted anti-Semitic content on social networks. The vehicle used by him and his partner in the attack also revealed a manifesto that the investigators described as "confused" and contained hate content toward police and possibly Jews. US media reported that Anderson and his partner who were partners in the attack were members of a black supremacist movement, who believed that blacks in the US were the true Israelites, while the Jews were impostors.
