The President of the Republic received from the friars of the Sacred Convent of Assisi the Lamp of Peace during a ceremony in the upper Basilica of St. Francis. To deliver the Lamp to the Head of State was the custodian of the Sacred Convent Father Mauro Gambetti.
"We seek humble and wise men to govern, who do not love the protagonism of narcissists, do not continually propaganda," said Father Gambetti. Which in his speech recalled the figure of Liliana Segre.
