The commander of the first regiment to mobilize the Karmah district of Anbar Province, Colonel Mahmoud Mardi Al-Jumaili, announced today the arrest of a terrorist organization, “ISIS,” with a pre-emptive security operation east of Fallujah.
Al-Jumaili said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the security forces launched a pre-emptive security campaign targeting the Karma district areas towards the Samarra district east of Fallujah, during which they managed to arrest one of the most important ISIS leaders in Anbar," explaining that the security forces raided the target's presence area and managed to arrest him Without any resistance to mention.
He pointed out that "the arrested person was involved in operations targeting the security forces and civilians."
Yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested an ISIS terrorist in Mosul, in the north of the country.
